Attention Parents or Guardians cookie dough orders are in. You may come to the multipurpose room doors from now till 3:00 to pick them up. If you cannot pick the orders up during this time please contact the school and make alternate arrangements.

Recently there have been an uptick in phishing emails. The latest was an email imitating Superintendent Beam asking for your cell phone number. Please use caution when sending personal information to anyone. To educate people for their protection you can take this email phishing quiz. Cookie Dough order forms are due Monday April 22, 2024. Please make sure you send the order form and all money collected with your child. All money collected will go towards school beautification and family engagement incentives.

Mr. Beam has cancelled all after school activities for Nicholas County April 11, 2024. Therefore, there will be no after school program for Birch River Elementary today. They will be virtual and a packet will be sent home for all students currently enrolled in the after school program. Thank you.

Nicholas County Schools will release 3 hours early on Friday, October 13th, 2023 for Faculty Senate. All Faculty Senate days will be a 3-hour early release.

Due to a scheduled power outage, Birch River Elementary will be closed tomorrow Wednesday September 27, 2023. Staff is not to report.

Parent Volunteer Training tomorrow at 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM if you are interested the cost for a background check is $10.

Good evening. This is a reminder from Birch River Elementary School to all families that as we celebrate our 5th grade students tomorrow we need everyone to please enter through the front door and through the metal detector before proceeding to the multi purpose room. Please leave all metal devices and items in your car or at home. Our hearts go out to the families and community of the elementary school students and staff in Texas for their great loss. Our flag will be flown at half mass the remainder of the week.

Tomorrow, May 6th is School Lunch Hero Day! We would like to show our deepest gratitude to Ms. Pam and Ms. Connie. They work extremely hard to make sure our students are fed and happy each day! We would also like to announce that tomorrow is popcorn day and all popcorn will be available for $1.
